Legend of the Bay event
If you are thinking of visiting Watergate Bay, Newquay, in order to either participate in, or watch the events of ‘Legend of the Bay’ why not book a taxi from Coastline Travel to take you there. The event brings together stand-up paddle boarders and kite surfers for the weekend of 18th and 19th of April. The event is packed out and has the makings of a really super two days. It is very popular and all we hope for is good weather and the right breeze. Competitors can enter either individual competitions for wave jam kite surf or the stand-up surf paddle. They can also enter both and compete for the coveted ‘Legend of the Bay’ title by combining scores from both events.
